Sarah & Dan had a beautiful spring wedding day in Detroit. Their wedding ceremony was at the historic Sweetest Heart of Mary, a breathtakingly beautiful gothic cathedral built by Polish immigrants in the late 1800’s. Sarah had such lovely details- she had her earrings made from the diamonds in her grandmother’s engagement ring, and lace from a family wedding dress was wrapped around her amazing bouquet. The flowers were done by the very talented floral design company Pot + Box– we love succulents, and are always a fan of their work! We visited the amazingly mammoth nine-story North End mural, painted by Katie Craig, for some photos, and headed to the Detroit Institute of Arts– an absolutely stunning venue for their wedding! Sarah and Dan’s guests, many from out of town, were captivated by our city’s amazing art museum, and were able to explore the DIA at their leisure. The iconic Diego Rivera murals created an unforgettable backdrop for their wedding photos, and the Great Hall served as a wonderful place for their guests to dine, eat, and have a fantastic evening, dancing the night away to the sounds of Nouveauté. We are so happy for Sarah and Dan, and are so thrilled they chose us to capture this awesome day!
