Liz and Tom had a chic and glamorous wedding celebration in Downtown Detroit. They were married at the historic Old St. Mary’s Church in Greektown- so beautiful and rich with tradition, and the very same church Lizzy’s parents were married in over 30 years ago. We had a great time taking photos throughout downtown Detroit with them and their wedding party. Liz’s styling was so chic- navy and white stripes against a backdrop of hot pink carried through from the flowers to the cute clipped boards where guests found their table numbers to the bridesmaids dresses. The Colony Club is an amazing venue. Dinner and dancing took place in the Louis XVI ballroom, which has been fully restored to its original splendor. The planning and flowers were wonderfully designed by A Moment in Time, who also did a great job making the evening flow smoothly. Once again, we were lucky to work with Nouveauté, the amazing band who can go from operatic love songs to Michael Jackson to Lady Gaga without skipping a beat. They had the dance floor hopping all night! Congratulations to the beautiful couple and their wonderful families- it was a lovely wedding!
