Katie & Josh’s Elegant Wedding at St Paul’s on the Lake and the Detroit Athletic Club

Katie & Josh had an amazing day! Their wedding was elegant, classic, and chic. Katie was surrounded by her favorite girls as she got ready for the big day at her best friend’s home, and her sister and mom helped her get into her amazing dress. She had a first look with her bridesmaids, which was so touching- tears were flowing with these lifelong friends! The ceremony at St Paul on the Lake in Grosse Pointe Farms was beautiful. The wedding party had an awesome time on the vintage blue trolley, riding around to their favorite places- the girls took a visit to their alma mater, Grosse Pointe South High School, and the guys went to the ever masculine Joe Louis fist. We went to the Riverwalk, Belle Isle, and Comerica Park, and finally made it back to the elegant and historic DAC, where we had one of the best views in the city (inside and out!) The flowers were so lovely, designed by A Moment in Time | Wedding & Event Production. They also did an amazing job with the wedding planning! Katie shared a memorable dance with her dad, to a medley of their special songs. Everyone was out on the dance floor all night, having a ball! We are so very happy for Katie and Josh, and so happy they chose us to capture this amazing day with them!
