Jenny & Bill had a romantic, smart, and chic wedding at the Pine Knob Mansion in Clarkston, filled with bookish charm and creative DIY accents. Their literary theme and unique DIY details, including all of the centerpieces and bouquets, were designed and handmade by the couple with their friends and family. There were unique touches like old world postcards, quotes from classic authors, Michigan-centric cookies for out-of-town guests, and all around vintage glamour. Their garden ceremony was lovely and so touching, with personal vows that they read, as well as a wine-box ceremony. Jenny’s handmade bouquet had her grandmother’s brooch on it, and she had special family come all the way from England for the occasion. Their first dance was to Otis Redding’s That’s How Strong My Love Is (a perfect first-dance song in our opinion- and on vinyl no less!) Their reception was so fun as everyone explored the grounds of the Mansion and danced into the wee hours to tunes spun by Derek Hall of Mike Staff Productions. Jenny & Bill were so fun and creative, and these two are very much in love- it was an amazing wedding and we loved spending the day with them!
