Jackie & Drew’s DIY details were so fitting for their rustic backyard wedding- wildflowers, mason jars, old windows, and haystacks (the hay grows right behind their barn!). It was a true family affair- their wedding party was made up of their siblings, and all of the creative details were put together by Jackie and their families. The lush garden ceremony was lovely- only slightly interrupted by an intense summer thunderstorm! Everyone took it all in stride and the ceremony resumed inside the tent where guests could keep dry! The officiant was a dear friend of the couple’s and they were surrounded by family and friends from near and far. The food went perfectly with their theme- a contemporary twist on American picnic fare from Katherine’s Catering. The flowers were all lovely, by Red Poppy, and the ceremony and reception music provided by Panache. It was a beautiful setting thanks to both the Pattersons and their generous neighbor (who happens to be a master gardener!) and a really wonderful wedding day. We are so happy for them and that they included us to share this amazing time with them!
